John Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono, has hinted that there may be a memoir on the cards in the next few years.

The book would be a collection of memories that would allow fans to delve into the lifestyle and influences of the avant-garde artist, her relationship with her late husband and, perhaps, even give them the opportunity to view Ono’s generally quiet opinions of issues between her and the band.

Answering fans questions on her official website, Imaginepeace.com, Ono stated that she plans to have her next book written within the next five years.

“I would love to do it. I just have to find the time,” she stated.

The memoir would be an interesting one. An often misunderstood individual (particularly back in the day – she was often claimed as “the” one that broke up the awesome The Beatles foursome), the book would give Yoko the opportunity to pay homage to her late husband, set records straight, and allow us to get to know the woman behind the Lennon image.

Who is she? What makes her so unique? And what made John Lennon fall so madly in love with her?

Could be an interesting read – but even more interesting to watch the movie studios fight over the screen rights, and how it might steer away from Nowhere Boy… am I right people?
