And now, the question of What would the Spider-Man saga look like if it were directed by Wes Anderson?, has finally been answered thanks to a bunch of people who have obviously been thinking the same thing.

All the hallmarks and quirks of a Wes Anderson film [like The Fantastic Mr. Fox] are here.

Borrowing most notably from his movie The Royal Tenenbaums, this video uses characters played by Jason Shwartzman, Gwyneth Paltrow and Owen Wilson to tell the well-established tale of Spiderman – with the introspective and isolated-folk sensibility of Wes Anderson.

Those responsible for putting this together deserve a big pat on the back.
