It may seem like we just can’t get enough of Christmas here at watchoutfor | music. But truth be told, there is just so much Christmas-releated fun and frivolity of the music kind that we need more than one week of Christmas build up to show you everthing we want to.
The following is a recording from a six-track Christmas feature EP that Weezer recorded for an i-phone game of the peculiar title ‘Tap-Tap Revenge’. Who says that technology has thwarted out artistic flare?

Watch Out For
Given that it’s a song, and that the only visual stimulus is a typical photo of Weezer dressed up in the highest fashion of ‘the season to be jolly’, one can only really judge the music. O Holy Night is definitely one of the best Christmas carols on offer, and the more you think about the more it makes sense. It’s relative major-minor swapping paves the way for Weezer’s famed slow-paced guitar drawl and allows Rivers voice to soar with it’s unmistakable power. Enjoy!
