When Way To Blue: The Songs of Nick Drake comes to Australia, it will be one of the best ways for fans of this iconic performer to hear his beautiful music as it was meant to be heard. Curated by original Drake producer Joe Boyd, this hit British tribute concert will be making a stop-over in Melbourne and Sydney.

Much admired Australian alt-country singer songwriter Shane Nicholson and the acclaimed and evocative Australian indie folk duo Luluc are the latest additions to round out this upcoming, highly-anticipated tour.
Australians Shane Nicholson and Luluc join the international artists who will sing and re-interpret Nick Drake’s often hauntingly poetic material: folk rediscovery Vashti Bunyan, ‘Scritti Politti’ front-man Green Gartside, psychedelic pop maverick Robyn Hitchcock, stunning Irish singer Lisa Hannigan, American soul powerhouse Krystle Warren, and UK success-story Scott Matthews.
The band and string section is led by musical director Kate St John, anchored by double bassist Danny Thompson, who played on many of Drake’s albums, and features the original orchestrations arranged by the late Robert Kirby in the 1960s and early 1970s.
