Shutter Island (Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo) : Movie Review

Shutter Island is a film where nothing is what it seems, which does make things a little predictable once things start to come together, but even then the ending manages to satisfy – a rare achievement in this kind of film.

This gripping drama (said to be just as good as The Departed by those who have seen sneak peaks) is set in 1954, in which U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island.
