The flick has been written and directed by screenwriter Stuart Beattie (who had a hand in Australia and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl), produced by Andrew Mason and boasts an impressive cast of some of Australia’s best and brightest young things including Caitlin Stasey (Neighbours), Rachel Hurd-Wood (Peter Pan, Dorian Gray, Perfume) and Lincoln Lewis (Home & Away).

Paramount Pictures has finally announced that the feature film adaptation of John Marsden’s best selling novel Tomorrow : When The War Began will open in Australian cinemas on September 2, 2010.
