The Hollywood Insider reported a while back that Jonah Hill and Mike Bacall had inked a deal with Sony that would see them write the screenplay, star and serve as executive producers on the 1980s throwback piece. The TV series (the launchpad for Johnny Depp’s career), ran from 1987-1990, and still stands as one of the most iconic TV shows of the era.
