SXSW Send Off Shows – Say Goodbye In Style : Music News

A pair of fundraising gigs will be held in Sydney and Melbourne to send off our Aussie musos heading to the US for the illustrious South By Southwest festival.

The bands heading OS will also be joined at these fundraisers-slash- byebye barbeques by other bands who have been lucky enough in the past to also play SXSW.

Melbourne punters can catch Oh Mercy, The Wagons, Crayon Fields, Boat People, Pets With Pets and Summer Cats (pictured) at The Corner Hotel on February 23.

Sydney will get their slice with The Goldhearted, Goons Of Doom, Sherlock’s Daughter and City Riots at The Annandale on March 2.

Free BBQ snags and Elwood Jeans freebies will feature at both shows.
