Hey Big Splendour! triple j is bringing Splendour In the Grass to you: live, on-air and online.

Packing up the J-Van and heading to Byron Bay, triple j will set up a multimedia, outside-broadcast studio backstage at Splendour In The Grass, to bring you more live music than ever. Follow the festival as it happens with unbeatable cross-media coverage: live sets broadcast on air, online photo galleries, back stage videos, blogging and tweeting as well as commentary, reviews and live artist interviews on triple j, over three jam-packed days.

triple j’s live music team will be broadcasting more than 20 artists sets over the weekend – including incredible local and international artists such as Jack White, The Shins,Bloc Party, Miike Snow, Tame Impala, Metric, The Kooks and more.

As well, they’ll be re-played on Live At The Wireless over the following weeks. You can also stream songs on demand from heaps of Splendour artists, and check out hundreds of photos from the best performances – uploaded into the online gallery shortly after the band hit the stage.

Plus there will be blogs from both triple j’s presenters and artists, as well as music news shared through Facebook and Twitter. Want to have your say? We’ll be streaming a Splendour feed of all your best tweets on the triple j site.

We’ll be filming plenty of the action too, with artist interviews, backstage antics, front of stage activity, crowd interaction and unusual encounters, all published online throughout the weekend so triple j’s audience can watch all the action as it unfolds.
