What do you think of when I say “Reynolds & Bateman”?
Well, if you’re like most people your response would be “Who the frick are you and why are you yelling random surnames at me?!” but if you haven’t run screaming yet you are probably more likely to say “Reynolds & Bateman? they’re only two of the biggest stars around today!” … and they’d be correct.
That’s why it’s time to get excited for their next project, Change-Up.
"So when I swap bodies with Ryan, I'll get his abs right?"
According to Variety, Arrested Development star Jason Bateman and X-men’s latest addition Ryan Reynolds are set to star in a new body-switching comedy called Change-Up where Straight laced family-man (Jason Bateman) switches bodies with his lazy best friend (Ryan Reynolds).
It sounds like a tired concept…The Truth About Cats & Dogs, Freaky Friday, 17 Again, Big, The Hot Chick…Even Aussies had a go in Sleeping With The Enemy, but the one thing missing from all of these is writers Jon Lucas & Scott Moore (The Hangover)…phew!
Although I am looking forward to this, hopefully it doesn’t get in the way of Jason Bateman’s other projects Paul and the long-awaited Arrested Development Movie, either way if it’s good, I’ll finally forgive him for Couples Retreat.
