Wednesday Residency in November | The Workers Club
After releasing their demo Black Cloud EP at sold out shows at The Workers Club in June, Melbourne up-and-commers Playwrite are pleased to announce their return with a residency celebrating Aus Music Month in November.
This spritely gang of not-too-mishevious looking guys and girls [just one girl, actually] have been extremely busy playing shows around Melbourne for the past 6 months with the likes of Wild Beasts, Leader Cheetah and Belles Will Ring, and have somehow found time to produce their self titled EP which was launched on the 2nd November.

Think Local Natives with the youthful zest of Grouplove and you’re starting to get close to Playwrite. Playing Wednesday’s at The Workers Club in November, watchoutfor.com.au recommends a sneak peak at this band who are destined for big things.
