After receiving an ARIA nomination for best album with Conditions, it is rumored that Melbourne’s very own Temper Trap are willing to head back to their homeland in order to wow us with a special one-off performance on the Australian music industry’s night-of-nights.
Drummer Toby Dundas remained hopeful, yet ever so tight-lipped about the possible one-off historical performance when he spoke to Chris Wood earlier this week:
“If the ARIA’s would have us perform then we’d love to come back. It would be a great honour to be apart of the groups that are playing and part of the long history of great Australian acts that have performed on the ARIA stage. We’ll see if we get a call.”

The Temper Trap
Regardless of whether they do make it out here for the ARIA’s, The Temper Trap will be back in Australia soon enough, with performances at The Falls, Sunset, Southbound and Big Day Out festivals, as well as a rare intimate performance in Melbourne at the Forum Theater on January 12th.
