Rumours Crushed To A Pulp : Music News
Rumours of a re-union of seminal 90′s indie brit-pop outfit Pulp are completely false, according to enigmatic former frontman Jarvis Cocker.
Cocker has spoken out against the circulating rumours that Pulp were to play Glastonbury:
“Someone asked me if I fancied playing at the 40th anniversaryof Glastonbury, I said yes, they twisted that into a ‘Pulp reform’ story. It’s not true”, he told British publication Teletext.
Currently touring his most recent LP Further Complications, a tour which includes an appearance at Victoria’s Meridith Music Festival, it appears that we’ll only be able to see him in his solo incarnation as he also performs dates around the rest of Australia.
As excited as we were to hear the news of a re-formation, it appears we’ll have to withdraw our speculative minds. Well at least for another 6 months until another rumour begins to circulate.
