And here we are again. That time of year is upon us when we plan for our Meredith Music Festival, which will occur from 7-9 December.
To make this year even more distinguised than last year, the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre has officially been recognised by scientists as one of the best outdoor music venues. How good are scientists.
ANYWAY, same price as last year, which was the same price as the year before. Still BYO. Still no commercial sponsors and still the No Dickhead Policy. One stage fits all; same perfect size. Meredith Twenny Twelve will be fiercely Meredith, in all her four-dimensional glory.
To celebrate the opening of the ballot, here’s two of the thirty wonderful artists performing: Twenny-one years ago, one of Australia’s most beloved, very favourite bands disappeared into the shadows, seemingly lost forever. So we are beside ourselves to announce they will be Alone With You Friday night at Meredith: yes, it’s the sublime, special Sunny Boys.
Plus everyone’s favourite maverick riverboat queen Grimes will be mooring at Meredith for the night as well. God I love that girl. Wow. Place is gonna blow. But first, ENTER THE BALLOT.
The Ballot is quick, easy, free to enter. Visit www.mmf.com.au before 10pm Sunday the 12th of August 2012, and follow the ensuing prompts.
Most of the line-up will be out in the open around ballot time as usual. If you know how the ballot works, see below.

Ballot winners will be emailed a unique Meredith Key to access the secure online box office and purchase tickets.
