Mad Max 4 Fury Road Skins Nicholas Hoult : Movie News

While we can pretty much rule out the return of Mel Gibson (as well as give up all hope of Sam Worthington carrying the Aussie torch) in George Miller’s long awaited Mad Max 4 : Fury Road, we can quite happily confirm that Skins and About A Boy veteran Nicholas Hoult will be making an appearance!

THR has revealed that Nicholas Hoult will be getting post-apocalyptic on our asses after being cast as “Nux” in the upcoming Mad Max movie, with Zoe Kravitz (whose character’s name is “Five Wives”… yep, we don’t get it either… what happened to good old fashioned nice names… like “Apple” or “Criss Angel : Mindfreeeeak“?), Teresa Palmer, Charlize Theron and Adelaide Clemens (Love My Way) also set to fill in the on-screen leather pants.

Mad Max : Fury Road is “set a short while after the story detailed in 1985’s Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome” which means it keeps the Mad Max character (originated by Mel Gibson) relatively young, and the hot word is that Bronson bad-ass Tom Hardy has the role locked up.

The flick is set to shoot in Australia in the summer of 2010, with Warner Bros. to distribute… which is fine, just as long as they promise not to shoot it on “Hollywood on the Gold Coast”.
