Love is one of those wonderful moments where cinema and music cross-over more than they usually do. With a soundtrack form the creative clutches of Angels & Airwaves, Love is a visually stunning sci-fi epic which opens nationally in cinemas on August 30.
Love revolves around astronaut Lee Miller (Gunner Wright, J EDGAR) who becomes stranded in orbit aboard the International Space Station after losing contact with Earth. As time passes and life support systems dwindle, Lee battles to maintain his sanity – and simply stay alive. His world is a claustrophobic and lonely existence, until he makes a strange discovery aboard the ship. Driven by the powerful music of Angels & Airwaves, LOVE explores the fundamental human need for connection and the limitless power of hope… A high-impact visual adventure that resonates a common truth, that everyone has a story to tell and something even greater to leave behind.
Angels & Airwaves is led by Blink 182 guitarist and vocalist Tom Delonge, who said of Love:
“Angels & Airwaves has aspired to merge the art of film and music together for some time, but in a way that represents who we are, and what we stand for. What we didn’t know was how a few talented people could take a small idea and develop it into an odyssey. I’m so proud of the result. I personally don’t know how the hell we pulled this off.”
