In between tearing up the stage at Big Day Out, Groovin’ The Moo, Pyramid Rock Festival, selling out their own shows and supporting the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Girls and Cage The Elephant, Loon Lake have been busy writing and recording and are thrilled to announce the release of their next single Cherry Lips.

Resplendent with driving riffs, rolling vocals and peppered with just the right amount of handclaps, Cherry Lips is a laconic pop gem that galvanizes Loon Lake’s reputation as one’s to watch in 2012.

Cherry Lips – unleashed 12 June -  is the second single from their forthcomming EP Thirty Three which is to be released early August 2012.

And to celebrate this momentous occasion, Loon Lake will be hitting the road throughout August and playing Adelaide, Warrnambool, Brisbane, Maroochydore, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle and Melbourne.

Triple j unearthed alumni Cub Scouts (Brisbane) and Glass Towers from Sydney will be supporting Loon Lake on their epic Thirty Three Tour.
