John McClane & Raaaaaaaandy To Die Hard : Exclusive Movie News

While most of us are trawling through swagfuls of shitty gifts (mixed with the one of two we didn’t have to pretend we liked… “Socks, I so needed these!”), I must say I was pleasantly surprised to arrive back home from a boozy Christmas lunch only to realise I’d missed a message from Parks & Recreation star Aziz Ansari (read the full interview with Aziz Ansari here).
Anyhew – while we will go into more detail in the full interview, he did cough up a few details regarding the plots of his upcoming film projects with Judd Apatow’s company (which we reported here) including a few new story tidbits.
Will Bruce Willis Return As John McClane?
“Let’s Do This is a road movie about two guys at a motivational speaking company. The astronaut film is about two disgraced astronauts that have to go back to space to clear their names” says Ansari.
He also gives hints as to who he might want to see in the film – “I’m a huge fan of The Wire – so any cameos from those actors would be great. Also Bruce Willis in an in-character cameo as John McClane from Die Hard“.
As for the Flight Of The Conchords movie (which you can read about here), it seems it isn’t set in stone just yet with Ansari suggesting “This is the first I’ve heard of that”, but did go onto say that he would be “happy to work with those guys again”.
