“Inglorious Basterds 2″ and “Kill Bill 3″ In Tarantino’s Sights : Movie News

You’ve got to love Quentin Tarantino, because he knows exactly how his audience thinks – after all, he is a movie nerd himself… so he knows the yearning movie buffs have to hear about the upcoming works from their favourite directors.

While Inglorious Basterds is still showing in cinemas across the world (after taking over $312 million worldwide so far) the rumour mill is already working overtime regarding what the next project for the Pulp Fiction director will be.

Well, it seems he isn’t sure – but there are some exciting projects on the horizon according to an interview between MTV and Quentin Tarantino in which the True Romance scribe suggested there were several projects on the cards including a “spaghetti western that deals with American slavery”.

However, what we were most excited to hear that Tarantino has all but signed on the dotted line for sequels to both Kill Bill and Inglorious Basterds.

“There is another story involving these characters that I could tell. I just have to figure out when to do it” Tarantino said of Inglorious Basterds 2. “There are a couple other stories that I have in mind involving these characters, in particular the Basterds and also other characters that got dropped from this story… it will happen”.

He also gave word that Uma Thurman’s The Bride will also be making an ass kicking return to screens in the long awaited Kill Bill 3 saying “There’s no script; there are just ideas and notes. I won’t do that next… but… the thing I do after next”.

Look, as long as people are Killin’ Nazis – that is fine by us Mr. Tarantino. But until then… let’s enjoy some classic Quentin…
