Harold & Kumar Go to Amsterdam (Kal Penn, John Cho) : Movie Stoners

WATCH OUT FOR | MOVIES were lucky enough to catch up with the very funny Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg -  the brains behind the excellent new American Pie sequel, American Pie : Reunion – today. You can watch the full video interview with those guys (plus our chat with Mena Suvari, Tara Reid and Chris Klein) in the next week or so – but we’ve got more important things to discuss right now.

True comedy fans will be well aware that, along with American Reuinion, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are also the genius’ behind the Harold & Kumar franchise. Those flicks are excellent in pretty much every way possible.

Sadly, the amazing A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas [Watch The Naughty Red Band Trailer Here] didn’t exactly light the US Box Office on fire (a reasonable $35M take from a $20M budget, down from the $38M of Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay) and it’s looking very much like Australians won’t see a cinematic release of the flick.

This is INSANE! It’s a 3D movie that’s meant to be seen in cinemas. Never fear though, WATCH OUT FOR will make sure there is a chance for die hards to see it the way the good lord (NPH) intended – and Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have even jumped on board with the #OccupyIn3D movement!

If you’re on Twitter, be sure to get that hashtag going as well as including @watchoutfor_au !

So, until we can reveal more info about #OccupyIn3D – let’s all enjoy Harold & Kumar Go to Amsterdam – the “What Could Have Been” instalment of the franchise we all love so dearly!
