While most would think that Jon Favreau and Robert Downey Jr would be happy to see the backs of each other after the gruelling shoot for Iron Man 2, it seems the pair might be teaming up sooner than expected with the adaption of the comic book Cowboys Vs Aliens.
Oh, and did we mention it’s going to be in 3D… yep, it seems every man and his dog is going the 3D route these days [as we reported here] and Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens [Watch the Trailer here] will be no different.
Cowboys and Aliens : Cool or Crud?
According to TDB, the flick is set to start shooting in July and follows the graphic novel in which aliens land on Earth during the 1800s, interrupting a shoot out between a bunch of cowboys and Apache Indians.
The aliens then “decide to take over the old west and make everyone their slave”, so obviously, the cowboys and Indians team up to fight them.
This could very well be the coolest movie we’ve ever seen – or the biggest mess since “The Giant Robot Spider” in Wild Wild West. What do you think?
