Ex-Arctic Monkey turns Reverend : Music News

Former Arctic Monkeys bassist Andy Nicholson is poised to join fellow British electro-funk extraordinairers Reverend and the Makers.

According to Reverend frontman John McClure’s twitter account, Nicholson is set to join the band in the new year.

It read: “I’m made up to let u no my brother Andy Nicholson will be joining Reverend and The Makers in the new year. Get ready pal.”

There is no bad blood with Nicholson’s former band at his appointment with Reverend and The Makers, with Nicholson, McClure, and AM drummer Matt Helder’s having recently curated a music festival, as well as recorded an album together.
