DZ Deathrays – Return To Australia: Tour News

We’re only just past the halfway point of the 2012 but it’s fair to say that DZ Deathrays have already had quite the year.
Having released their critically acclaimed debut album Bloodstreams earlier this year, Shane Parsons and Simon Ridley have spent the majority of this year doing what they do best…tearing up venues with their ferocious live show all over the globe. It’s scary to think that things are only going to get more brutal.

Currently on a plane back to Australia DZ Deathrays will be wasting no time and heading straight to Melbourne to play a sold out show at Corner Hotel on Thursday, before hitting Sydney to play Factory Theatre and finally Adelaide for Spin Off Festival alongside acts like Lana Del Rey, Band of Skulls and Kimbra this weekend.
Following on from these shows, next week the band will be tearing up the main stage of Splendour in the Grass on Friday. These will be the last shows DZ Deathrays play in Australia until December and are surely not to be missed!
Soon after Splendour in the Grass DZ Deathrays will be packing their bags once more and relocating to the northern hemisphere for the rest of the 2012. The Brisbane duo have made sure they’ll be well and truly flat out, having already had the pleasure of being announced on the prestigious Leeds & Reading Festival (which will see them share the stage with some of the biggest names in the world), two separate USA tours with Blood Red Shoes & TRUST, all culminating in a huge UK tour with Pulled Apart By Horses and Pure Love (Frank Carter of Gallows new project).
