Danimals’ Christmas Worms Quest For Fresh Apples pretty much sounds exactly like what the title suggests. It’s a little confusing, yet ultimately alluring.
This Sydney 5-peice have been making quite a succesful name for themselves working with a host of outstanding performers including Mark Ronson, Santigold, Nick Hodgson of Kaiser Chiefs and Sean Lennon amongst others.
Their distinct brand of electro-pop is equally as simplistic as it is complex. They work with an innocent charm and apply it to a quirky electro-based theme.
As you would have guessed, Christmas Worms Quest For Fresh Apples works very much within this domain beautfully simplistic pop-fun. Danimals manage to carve out these pop tunes from the most unlikely of places, with odd samples and bizarre tones combining to make this 3-minutes pop-gem work.

The interesting backdrop of a Danimals live show
With one of the most distinct and catchy melodies going around at the moment, as well as some damn fine vocal harmonies moulding it together, Christmas Worms Quest For Fresh Apples is proof enough that we will be hearing from Danimals again sooner rather than later.
