OK, so technically this isn’t really a film clip under the definition by which we’ve labored under these last few months here at watchoutfor|music.However, sometimes a piece of footage comes along that does not fit into any category, but we feel deserving to be shown regardless.
Children Collide
This particular piece of footage comes from early this year from Melbourne 3-piece Children Collide as they perform a cover of Nirvana’s Milk It, from their underrated In Utero album.
Watch Out For
Basically, the whole song is perfect! They’ve managed to perfectly encapsulate Nirvana within this whole 3-and-a-half minutes of Pixies-esque raw angst! This proves once and for all that the well-chosen cover is still a powerful force to be reckoned with!
