That’s My Boy (Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg) : Red Band Movie Trailer

That

It has all the trademarks Sandler fans are looking for (familiar cast members, a random cutaway of a fat stripper and an old re-used comedy album character).

Dante’s Peak (Pierce Brosnan, Linda Hamilton) : Classic Cinema

Dante

So anyway, I reluctantly ended up watching ‘Dante’s Peak’. This film is about this guy, I think his name is Pierce Brosnan or something. Anyway, he’s from that movie where he’s James Bond and that other one where he sings Abba songs to Margaret Thatcher. You know the guy, at least, you’d know him if you saw him.

While Rob Sitch, Santo Cilauro and Tom Gleisner have given us “Champagne comedy” in the past like The Late Show, Frontline and The Castle — and to a lesser extent, Thank God You’re Here, their latest “comedy” is lighter on the laughs than many will be expecting.

To say Steve McQueen’s latest film Shame is confronting is an understatement, and not just because of the intense and frequent sexual content. McQueen has again teamed with Michael Fassbender three years after their critically acclaimed Hunger, to tell a story of addiction and struggle.
Fassbender plays Brandon Sullivan; a slick New York City businessman whose [...]

The Vow

Based on a true story, this sappy romance follows married couple Paige (Rachel McAdams) and Leo (Channing Tatum). After a car accident Page loses the memory of the last five years of her life, including Leo. In her mind she’s still in law school and engaged to Jeremy (Scott Speedman); in reality she dropped out of law school, broke up with Jeremy and became an artist.

Notting Hill (Hugh Grant, Julia Roberts) : Classic Cinema

nottinghill

After dinner, Julia and Hugh go for a walk and Hugh demonstrates to Julia that he has no idea how to climb a fence. This is apparently an excellent seduction technique. Ronan Keating sings “You say it best when you say nothing at all” but I guess he must be behind a tree or something, because I never saw him.

Rob Sitch & Lachy Hulme (Any Questions For Ben, The Late Show) : Movie Interview

Rob Sitch : Any Questions For Ben?

WATCH OUT FOR | MOVIES’ Sean Lynch caught up with Working Dog guru Rob Sitch and Hollowmen star Lachy Hulme to talk about all things comedy.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Honda Superbowl Commercial (Matthew Broderick) : Viral Video

Matthew Broderick Returns As Ferris Beuller

The full length “Ferris Bueller Returns” sees Matthew Broderick as himself, skipping out on a day of acting work and living it up in his fairly lameballs cars. Sure, it cements Broderick’s daggy nature – but with The Hangover’s Todd Phillips behind the camera you can rest assured that this is a pretty fun and fresh twist to the ’80s classic.

Finding Nemo 3D

Beauty and the Beast 3D just opened strongly in the USA, so it’s no surprise Disney are dipping back into the catalogue. Finding Nemo is the second highest grossing Pixar flick behind Toy Story 3 – and now it’s back to reclaim its title as the biggest Disney animated feature of all time.
