In Wog Boy 2 – The Kings of Mykonos, the original ‘Wogboys’ Nick Giannopoulos & Vince Colosimo return to the big screen after Steve “The Wog Boy” Karamitsis inherits a beach on the Greek resort island of Mykonos from an uncle he’s never met.

Iron Man 2 looks like it could just about be the most solid superhero outing in a long, long time. The tone and style looks identical to the first (which is a good thing), the action looks amazing, the robots even better… and Scarlett Johansson.
The Rebound (Catherine Zeta-Jones): Movie Review

Despite mediocre results from Hollywood’s more recent ‘rom-com’ outings (Valentine’s Day – to name one), The Rebound actually holds its own, and for the most part, was an entertaining watch. It had its moments with jokes that weren’t quite funny but it seems the ‘rom-com’ genre still might have a few tricks up its sleeve.

It’s the film that many are calling Bourne 4 as director Paul Greengrass and actor Matt Damon reunite.
The Men Who Stare at Goats (George Clooney, Jeff Bridges) : Movie Review

The Men Who Stare At Goats isn’t as funny as it thinks it is either (seeing McGregor constantly saying he doesn’t know what a Jedi is gets very stale, very quickly), resulting in a viewing experience best absorbed on free-too-air television.

The long gestating Gilligan’s Island movie has finally taken one step closer to realisation (for several years, Adam Sandler and Chris Farley were mooted to take on the roles of Gilligan and The Skipper respectively) after Warner Bros. and Atlas Entertainment confirmed they had begun development on a feature film based on the iconic CBS sitcom.

The Joneses looks like yet another Duchovny gem (much like the quickly forgotten, but EXCELLENT, The TV Set) that is destined to please the few who actually find it.

There’s the right amount of heart and laughs and if you’re after a realistic representation of modern relationships, no Valentine’s Day doesn’t count, then I highly recommend this little gem.
The Blind Side (Sandra Bullock, Tim McGraw) : Movie Review

Sandra Bullock’s performance as a decent, caring southern matriarch is solid, but not exactly what you think of when you think of an Oscar. She might be steely and determined, but that’s pretty much what Bullock does in about 80% of her roles and she’s not out of her comfort zone here.

When it comes to stoner flicks no-one could ever beat Cheech & Chong, but hot on their heels is the new weed flick, Your Highness.
Shutter Island (Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo) : Movie Review

Shutter Island is a film where nothing is what it seems, which does make things a little predictable once things start to come together, but even then the ending manages to satisfy – a rare achievement in this kind of film.
