This week we have Los Angelas inhabitants Best Coast with their latest single, The Only Place – the first single off their latest album of the same name.
Best Coast
The song is something about Los Angelas being the ‘only place for them’ – or something like that, highlight such things as the sun, girls in the sun and surfing in the sun. Teetering between modern country and happy-go-lucky nonsense, it strikes a balance that manages to produce a decent song. So we think this is a worthy custodian of the revered ‘Film Clip of the Week’ mantle.
