Fans who missed out on securing tickets for the Arctic Monkeys‘ January 2012 Melbourne show can breathe easy, with an announcement being made that the band will perform a second and final show in Melbourne on Monday the 2nd of January at the Palace Theatre.
The Arctic Monkeys will be joined at the Palace Theatre by very special guest Miles Kane, most notable as the front man of The Rascals and The Last Shadow Puppets, the latter being his shared side project with best mate Alex Turner.
Miles Kane is now enjoying success off the back of his solo debut album Colour of the Trap which is a rollicking arrangement of dark vintage pop and glorious soul sounds. The album contains collaborations from big names such as Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) and Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals) and was recorded with Dan Carey (Franz Ferdinand, Hot Chip) and Dan The Automator (Gorillaz, Kasabian).
